Meet Arlissa

Hey there. I’m Arlissa Pinkelton -

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, but raised in central Florida. Since childhood I had a love for Mathematics. I graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I spent my Engineering career working in various people-oriented teaching roles including 8 years as a program integration engineer in NASA's Space Shuttle. No matter where I was employed, I found myself helping others with “the math”.

The “itch” to teach math was never satisfied.

Then I decided to retire from Engineering to become a Math teacher. I’ve taught in the United States in an inner-city middle school, a magnet school STEM program, a technology-administered high school, and several community colleges. I’ve also taught math internationally in both China and Guatemala. So, needless to say, I have a breadth and depth of experience in working with students of varying backgrounds, learning styles, and diversified math skill sets.

After teaching for 15 years, I started trading Stocks and Options for income. I learned quickly, then found myself teaching others to do the same. Hence, I became the Educator 2 Trader. Now I coach others who are learning how to trade the Stock Market or become more experienced in their trading.

The 8 Minute Maths Method

8 Minute Maths is better. Why?

The 8 Minute Maths process is a simple process and it works. With this approach, I know where students get “hung up” and I address those areas beforehand in order to help you avoid the pitfalls. I use 8 minute segments to get to the root of the skills and topics. It is better because it recognizes that the basics are not inherent. Every step is explained and relevant practice is built in.
